New Internationalist commission TCO London for visual overhaul
Launched in 1973, the New Internationalist is a magazine dedicated to socially conscious journalism. The NI team recently decided to enlist the help of TCO London – the brains behind Huck and Little White Lies – to give the brand and magazine a visual overhaul.
Vanessa Baird, co-editor of New Internationalist says, “the redesign is about making space for a more thoughtful, reflective kind of journalism, sorely needed in an era of churnalism and clickbait. We asked TCO London help make New Internationalist more aesthetically current; to freshen up how our journalism is presented and to make the magazine more accessible and engaging – appealing to a new, younger audience without alienating our older, dedicated subscribers.’”
