— THE CHALLENGE —

Logic. It’s a beautiful thing. But it can keep things expected. Safe. And even hold us back.

Throught this global campaign, Logitech wanted to reinforce their social impact credentials to a new audience by telling stories of those who yearn to bring more creativity, equality and a bit of the extraordinary to the world, using technology to facilitate their progress.

Our US and European talent search uncovered the stories of individuals defying expectations, ignoring limits, and creating a new logic that fits whatever they want to do next.

Using our premium documentary approach to capture their stories in a series of films and lifestyle photography shoots, we created a suite of authentic and credible assets, and elements from our films are featured in the brands first Super Bowl commercial.

Episode 1: Melz Owusu is Diversifying Education

Only ⅕ of UK universities have committed to restructuring their curriculums to be more inclusive. It’s no wonder Melz Owusu always struggled to identify with the history information being taught. To change that, the PhD student started the Free Black University to diversify education and redistribute knowledge. Because education should be the most freeing and liberating experience ever.

Episode 2: Amy & Ella are Kids Against Plastic

From plastic bottles to cigarette butts, plastic pollution is one of Earth’s biggest problems. The plastic items we use and throw away will be around on the planet forever. When Amy & Ella Meek learned about this problem, they didn’t get overwhelmed. In fact, they’ve founded Kids Against Plastic, spoke at TEDx, developed an app to track how much plastic they’ve picked up and leveraged social media and their podcast to rally their generation to the cause.

Episode 3: NONOTAK Creates Visual Poetry

NONOTAK studio tells stories and creates immersive experiences with light, sound, and space. A collaboration between illustrator Noemi Schipfer and architect/musician Takami Nakamoto, NONOTAK blurs the boundaries that exist in the middle of reality and the virtual world with their mesmerizing sonic and visual installations.

Episode 4: ZEITGUISED Makes Exquisite Realities

As the founder and creative force behind ZEITGUISED STUDIO, Henrik Mauler leads an international team of artists, filmmakers, and coders as they mold reality to its most stunning, surprising, and mind-bending forms. The Berlin-based studio works in fields of sculpture, architecture, fashion, and film – creating groundbreaking work that’s difficult to categorize, and impossible to ignore.
